Walk
In conjunction with the exhibition Making Post-War Manchester at The Manchester Technology Centre, Oxford Road the Manchester Modernist Society will be hosting a walk around the Education Precinct and Oxford Road looking at some of the sites and areas featured in the models.
We will look at some of the buildings that were built to the masterplan and attempt to envisage, with the help of the exhibition, some of the buildings that were not. Past, present and future - all in one walk.
The walk is free but please only sign up if you fully intend to come to this event. The Manchester Modernist Society attempt to be fully inclusive and try to offer events for free where possible. Signing up and not turning up prevents other keen members, who did not get a place, from attending.
